Bring It NHL

Tonight, I want to talk about something that I don't usually write about...ever. Ummm...Hockey. Yes, THAT hockey. The same hockey that just had a season-ending and destroying lockout. First, let me say that I haven't exactly been the biggest fan of hockey. I also haven't been its biggest supporter. I was one of the people saying that a lockout would actually help ESPN and ABC, its broadcasters. By the same token, I have been a big fan of playoff hockey. I have watched it since 2001. It was fine and enjoyable for me to watch. But regular season hockey bored me. Now, I get to the point. I am glad it is back. I am because one of the things I noticed is there is a lot of rule changes and a new logo (ooooohhhh, aaahhhhhh) that will be implemented in an attempt to lure the fans back. Hey, I am caught; hook, line and sinker. The hockey purists may say that it will be bad for the game in general but I say, a little more excitement can't hurt anyone. So bring it on hockey, make America love you the way Canada does.

In other news, I went to church today, as usual. Did the whole studying the scripture thing. It was informative. We talked about starting over; in life, love and everywhere between. It got me to thinking that I will be doing that as soon as I get to college. I will be starting my new life. It all starts then. I have got exciting things to envision. But for now, I only want to envision the back of my eyelids.
